Job summary

STV is seeking an Engineering Specialist for Rail & Transit Systems engineering to support planning, design, integration, and delivery of signaling, CBTC, communications, SCADA, traction power, and other rail infrastructure systems.

The role focuses on developing and managing requirements, coordinating interfaces among multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring subsystems work together as an integrated transportation system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Systems, Computer, Mechanical, or related field) required or related discipline.
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles and lifecycle processes.
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion, Jama) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, trace, and verify system requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead interface management activities between signaling, communications, vehicles, civil, track, power, operations, and maintenance teams.
• Support systems engineering processes including requirements management, configuration management, verification & validation (V&V), and systems integration.
• Coordinate technical reviews, interface control documents (ICDs), and requirements compliance activities.
• Assist with risk management, design reviews, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.

STV Is seeking an Engineering Specialist in the Rail & Transit Systems Engineer supports the planning, design, integration, and delivery of complex transit systems, including signaling, CBTC, communications, SCADA, traction power, and other rail infrastructure systems.

The role is responsible for developing and managing system requirements, coordinating interfaces between multidisciplinary stakeholders, and ensuring that all subsystem designs function together as an integrated transportation system.
