The Boeing Company is seeking a PCB librarian in El Segundo, California to manage and maintain an extensive library of PCB pieces for avionics hardware. You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop and standardize PCB components.
The role requires at least an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or related fields, proficiency in Altium Designer, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance. Experience in digital circuit design and PDM tools is preferred. The position works on the 1st shift at a secure U.S. facility.
As a PCB librarian, you will fill the vault with co‑workers requested parts that enable avionics hardware from concept through orbit operations. You will help organize, standardize, manage, and maintain our extensive library of PCB pieces for both flight and non‑flight hardware. The position requires working with multiple engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to identify, develop, and approve new pieces. The role also involves drafting new PCBA layouts from engineering schematics, ensuring accurate and timely library and Altium management to support high‑performance, high‑reliability spacecraft electronics.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance post‑start is required.
