Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Manager - Engineering Services to lead a six-person engineering team responsible for creating contract documents for building systems including Fire Sprinkler, Fire Alarm, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, and HVAC. The role reports to the Senior Manager - Engineering Services and requires directing design production and ensuring compliance with standards.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive CAD experience, a strong background in fire sprinkler design, and leadership

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience interpreting engineering/architectural drawings and blueprints.
• 7 years of Fire Sprinkler design experience preferred.
• NICET Certification Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an office of multi-discipline engineers and designers that provide contract documents for building systems including Fire Sprinkler, Fire Alarm, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, and HVAC systems.
• Directs and trains support personnel in the preparation of detailed design.
• Drives collaborations with the design team to review drawings and designs and manage adjustments according to feedback.
• Directs design compliance with company regulations and quality standards.
