Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA) is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to support NASA's NESC with technical assessments and consultations. The role focuses on delivering expert opinions, conducting evaluations, and participating in NRBs across multiple disciplines.

Qualified candidates will have extensive degrees and years of experience in identified technical disciplines, and must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 15 years of experience; or a Master's degree and 15 years of experience; or a Doctoral Degree and with a minimum of 10 years in a identified technical discipline.
• US citizenship or Permanent Residence.

Responsabilités

• Participate in kickoff, recurring, or routine assessment or support task meetings in person or via teleconferencing
• Deliver written and verbal expert opinion, findings, comments, or opposing viewpoints across disciplines
• Perform evaluations, technical peer reviews, and analysis of discipline-related documentation
• Contribute to, and deliver, written drafts of technical reports
• Participate in the weekly NESC Review Boards (NRBs)
