Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Lafayette leads the Large Power Systems Division as an Engineering Project Team Leader for the G3600 platform. You will guide cross-functional teams through NPI, product improvement, and manufacturing support.

You will develop dashboards, manage quality metrics, and drive processes across manufacturing, engineering, and quality to ensure reliable engine performance.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or higher is required.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with design and development processes for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3600 factory end-of-line test efficiency projects.
• Improve First Crank Acceptance (FCA) and First Test Acceptance (FTA) metrics.
• Resolve BIQ and AQE issues with factory personnel.
• Provide technical leadership across manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain dashboards tracking quality issues, corrective actions, and KPIs.
