Job summary

Caterpillar Lafayette, Indiana is seeking an Engineering Project Team Leader to drive end-of-line efficiency on the 3600 platform. You will coordinate across manufacturing, quality and engineering to deliver improvements in FCA/FTA and BIQ/AQE issue resolution.

You will lead development of dashboards for KPIs and actively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced plant environment. This role requires a two-year technical degree or greater and offers relocation assistance with no sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or greater required.
• G3600 Engine experience preferred.
• Engine/Package Testing experience beneficial.
• Knowledge of BIQ and AQE processes is a plus.
• Familiarity with Factory Standard Work is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3600 factory end-of-line test efficiency projects.
• Improve First Crank Acceptance (FCA) and First Test Acceptance (FTA) performance metrics.
• Partner with factory personnel to identify, manage, and resolve BIQ and AQE issues.
• Provide technical leadership across manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain dashboards that track active quality issues, corrective actions, resolution status, and performance trends.
