Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream from procurement to design and manufacturing to distribution. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics, segment Procurement and the design and manufacture of Wear Components (Undercarriage and GET) and Maintenance Components (Seals, Tubes & Hardware, Hose & Couplings, Fluids and Filters).
As the Engineering Project Team Lead within the ST&H – Rubber Components team in PSLD, you will meet set goals and contribute technical expertise to projects. You will manage your own development, continuously learning new business knowledge and skills through experience. Strong program/project management and organizational skills are critical for success in this role.
The job involves developing project scopes for rubber components, directing their design and development, and ensuring they meet performance, durability, and cost targets. It includes coordinating resources, overseeing project progress, and resolving issues. The role also supports test bench maintenance, develops new test capabilities, and uses FEA results for validation. Additionally, it requires evaluating manufacturing issues, mentoring team members, and managing multiple projects. Proficiency in technical tools and methodologies, strong analytical and communication skills, and a hands-on approach in a lab environment are essential.

Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00
