Job summary

Northshore Utility District in Kenmore, WA seeks an Engineering Project Manager to lead consultant engineering for capital improvements and developer extensions. The role requires a minimum of four years of civil engineering experience, with autoCAD/Bluebeam proficiency and possible PE license (preferred but not required).

The position offers a 9/80 or standard Mon-Fri schedule, with 100% employer-paid health premiums and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Four years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience managing public works capital improvement and/or Developer Extension projects.
• Experience in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, construction and surveying preferred.
• WA Professional Civil Engineering or Engineer-in-Training license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management over consultant engineering services for planning, scope and budget development, design, permitting, and construction management for CIP projects.
• Administer consultant contracts and manage consultants during design and construction.
• Coordinate studies, designs, specifications, and cost estimates for projects.
• Assist with planning, budgeting, and policy development within the Engineering Department.
