Emerson is seeking experienced Project Engineers to join our Power & Water Solutions business, supporting North American projects. This role is located at our Pittsburgh, PA campus.

You will contribute to delivering automation and control solutions across power generation and water infrastructure, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and customers. The position emphasizes modern software/hardware platforms, testing, configuration, and ongoing improvement in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a technical related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an automation, technical, or project-engineering role.
• Working knowledge of engineering fundamentals, system design concepts, and structured problem-solving approaches.
• Experience contributing to projects in industrial, infrastructure, energy, or technology-driven environments.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and disciplines.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship will not be provided now or in the future.

• Experience contributing to projects in industrial, infrastructure, energy, or technology-driven environments
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and disciplines

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience with control systems, automation platforms, or industrial software solutions
• Exposure to power generation, renewable energy, water, or wastewater industries
• Experience supporting projects through multiple phases, from design to implementation or support
• Comfort presenting technical information to varied audiences, including peers, project teams, or customers
• Familiarity with simulation tools, virtualization technologies, or remote support environments
