Job summary

The World Bank Group seeks an experienced Project Manager for HQ Real Estate Projects in Washington, DC. You will lead a team of engineers and supervisors, ensure safe, compliant operations, and drive maintenance programs for critical facilities.

Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, you will coordinate with project managers, contractors, and internal stakeholders on capital projects and system upgrades. Strong leadership and technical expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering, facilities, or real estate management.
• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in engineering, architecture, or construction management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Building Engineers and Supervisors, ensuring safe, compliant operations and a strong engineering culture.
• Oversee HVAC, central plant maintenance, and energy efficiency initiatives across facilities.
• Drive preventive maintenance programs and standardize work order processes across teams.
• Provide safety oversight, audits, and incident response while enforcing OSHA and internal standards.
• Design and deliver technical and safety training, and develop staff capabilities.
• Coordinate capital projects, tenant improvements, and system upgrades with stakeholders.
