Corning Incorporated in the United States seeks an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead process-improvement and equipment-design projects within the Unlock Productivity program. You will translate opportunities into executable engineering projects, spanning from concept to manufacturing acceptance, with cross-site leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 8+ years of project-management or project-leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading projects from definition to implementation in cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage scope, budgets, schedules, resources, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead productivity and process-improvement projects across multiple life-cycle stages.
• Define objectives, budgets, schedules, resources, success criteria and execution plans.
• Guide cross-functional teams through concept development, evaluation and solution selection.
• Provide technical leadership for process improvements, mechanical design and automation.
• Oversee design reviews, prototyping, testing, validation and manufacturing acceptance.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality and suppliers throughout execution.
• Manage scope, cost, schedule, risks and deliverables from definition to implementation.
• Communicate status, risks and decisions to leadership and stakeholders.
