Corning is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead process-improvement and equipment-design projects under the Unlock Productivity program. You will translate opportunities into executable engineering initiatives, spanning from opportunity definition to manufacturing acceptance.

Responsibilities include cross-site leadership, risk assessments, design reviews, and ensuring safety, quality, and cost targets are met. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 8 years of project-management or project-leadership experience involving manufacturing process or equipment improvement.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams and managing scope, budgets, schedules, resources, risks, and stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Identify, define, prioritize, and scope productivity projects with stakeholders.
• Develop objectives, business cases, budgets, schedules, resource plans, and success criteria.
• Lead cross-functional teams through problem definition, root-cause analysis, and design reviews.
• Provide technical leadership for process improvements, mechanical design, equipment, tooling, and automation development.
• Coordinate installation, startup, validation, and manufacturing acceptance on live production lines.
