Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead new product development initiatives, coordinating engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and quality teams. This role requires strong planning, budgeting, risk management, and the ability to track milestones and deliverables.

You will apply knowledge of mechanical, electrical, firmware disciplines, support stage-gate governance, and provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress and risks. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• Approximately 8 years of related professional experience.
• Experience leading projects in engineering-focused product development.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with stage-gate processes and PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and execution for new product development.
• Coordinate resources, budgets, and delivery tracking.
• Manage cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality.
• Support Agile project management and development processes.
• Provide regular status updates to leadership on progress and risks.
