Job summary

The Gentex Corporation is seeking an Engineering Project Manager II to lead the engineering development of new products across mechanical, hardware, software, and system disciplines, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with customer requirements.

This on-site role collaborates with product management, program management, and engineering teams to translate requirements into actionable roadmaps, balancing agile and waterfall methods, and to communicate progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of product development, software development, manufacturing, or testing in an engineering role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel).
• Experience leading System Engineering teams in product development.
• Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2-4 Gentex Engineering disciplines in product development.
• Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and customers on timelines and expectations.
• Transform requirements into implementation roadmaps balancing agile and waterfall.
• Collaborate to document technical specs and ensure cross-functional alignment.
• Identify and remove roadblocks for project teams.
• Release engineering artifacts per established processes.
• Drive PM best practices in the organization.
