Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation's Target Rock team in East Farmingdale, NY seeks an Engineering Project Manager to oversee complex engineering initiatives from conception to completion. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure safe, high-quality outcomes while coordinating with stakeholders.

The role requires 5–7 years in engineering project management or as an engineering lead, a mechanical engineering background, and strong PM skills.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of engineering project management or as an engineering lead
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required
• Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or MBA and/or PMP certification is a plus
• Experience developing mechanical systems and transitioning to manufacturing/production
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Oracle ERP is desirable
• U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain export-controlled information clearance

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, implementation, and tracking of short- and long-term projects
• Establish project timelines and budgets; manage team; ensure on-time delivery
• Create and maintain project status reports for stakeholders
• Review contracts and change orders for accuracy before launch
• Maintain backlog and progress tracking for timelines and shipments
• Coordinate engineering personnel and test facility activities
• Manage resources and liaise with stakeholders
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Present reports on project progress and outcomes
