Job summary

Freeport‑McMoRan is looking for a Project Manager Engineering II to lead major capital projects at the Safford operation. You will oversee safety, scope, cost and schedule, coordinating with consultants and contractors to deliver high‑impact projects.

Ideal candidates bring a strong background in engineering and project controls, with experience managing mid‑to‑large capital programs, and a proven ability to communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline or related field with a minimum of eight years in PM/Engineering/construction.
• High School Diploma with thirteen years related experience in PM/Engineering/construction.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, manage and evaluate major capital projects from development to completion.
• Ensure projects meet schedules, budgets and requirements as technical expert.
• Support expansion of copper production at Safford operations.
