The Engineering PMO Department provides Project Management and Contract compliance with structure and oversight that support Ampirical’s engineering teams in delivering high-quality power delivery projects. The department manages proposals, scope, schedule, budget, and risk while ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and industry standards. Serving as a central hub for coordination, communication, and project controls, the PMO drives consistency, accountability, and smooth execution across all engineering projects.
Ampirical's Engineering PMO is seeking Project Manager ( I or II ) to lead engineering project delivery across the full project lifecycle — managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and client relationships on electrical utility projects ranging from single-discipline designs to multi-discipline programs. This is a hands-on leadership role within a growing PMO where project managers own their projects end to end and are supported by a dedicated Project Controls team.
Project Manager I is responsible for managing contract scopes for smaller projects, task orders, and designs valued at $250,000 or less, with a focus on single-discipline or non-complex designs.
Project Manager II expands that responsibility to complex, multi-discipline projects, task orders, and designs valued between $250,000 and $1,000,000+, encompassing multiple engineering disciplines and multiple concurrent projects.
