Job summary

Port of Vancouver USA is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager for a regular, full-time role in Vancouver, WA. The position oversees planning, design, permitting and delivery of the port's capital improvement projects, coordinating with consultants and contractors to ensure projects meet schedules and budgets.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Civil Engineering, 5 years of project management or engineering experience, and PE certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited school.
• Five years of progressively responsible project management or engineering experience.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal building/land-use regulations relevant to port projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, design, permitting and delivery of capital improvement projects.
• Manage consultants and contractors to ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery.
• Provide professional engineering expertise for marine and industrial facilities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to support operational and strategic objectives.
• Prepare reports, cost estimates, and project budget updates.
• Develop construction design plans and specifications with PE seal when applicable.
