Job summary

Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering required.
  • Minimum five years of project management or engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of building, environmental and land-use regulations relevant to ports.
  • PE license required; PMP preferred; TWIC card upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, design, permitting and delivery of capital projects.
  • Oversee consultants and contractors to meet schedule and budget.
  • Provide engineering expertise for marine and industrial facilities.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to support port objectives.
  • Develop reports, budgets and cost estimates; ensure contract compliance.
  • Manage design plans, specs and bid/construct phases.
