Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to join the Watch Product Design (PD) organization. You will be part of a PD EPM team responsible for technical project management and assisting engineering development within one Watch PD group.

The role requires a solid mechanical engineering background to drive day-to-day activities, manage development planning and validation cycles, and collaborate across design, engineering, and manufacturing. International travel is possible.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• BSME preferred.
• 2+ years product development or mechanical design experience.
• Strong knowledge of product development cycles.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.

Minimum Qualifications

Engineering degree or equivalent required; BSME Preferred2+ years prior product development experience in project management or mechanical engineering designDetailed knowledge of product development process and cyclesStrong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals and manufacturing processes

Experience interfacing with mechanical engineering/design, operations, and vendorsExperience setting up project schedules and work breakdown structuresExcellent communication, presentation, organizational and leadership skills.
