You will serve as the primary design liaison to client Tool Experts while coordinating across international sites, translating complex concepts for diverse stakeholders, and championing process improvements.

Qualifications

Associate degree in a relevant engineering field required.
Bachelors degree preferred for engineering leadership roles.

CAPM or PMP certification is a plus.

Role

Senior Engineering Project Manager (Tool Install Design Lead) responsible for co-leading complex, multidisciplinary semiconductor tool installation and facility design projects. The role partners with the designated Project Manager to align technical execution with client expectations across all project phases and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement detailed project plans including technical specifications, engineering standards, quality control, hookup design, subfab laterals, and process equipment layouts.
Coordinate day-to-day delivery team activities and partner with Project Manager to align schedule, scope, and budget.
Act as the Design Liaison to client Tool Experts and Project Managers to resolve design constraints and close open issues.
Collaborate with lead engineers across disciplines to drive technical decisions and ensure compliance with semiconductor industry standards.
Identify and manage project scope, track progress, mitigate engineering risks, and address design challenges across fab functional areas.
Champion process improvements and engineer technical solutions for project issues.
Manage technical meetings, document control, and support RFI responses with contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies.
Handle increasingly complex tool install assignments with moderate supervision and ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and cost guidelines.

Requirements

Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Proficiency with engineering and drafting software tools and a strong technical aptitude for leveraging technology to drive project efficiency.
Ability to work collaboratively across offices and coordinate with international project sites and global teams.
Professional proficiency in Mandarin and English is highly preferred for translation and interpretation of written and spoken communications.
Familiarity with tool installation, process equipment installation design, or semiconductor fab environments is a strong plus.
Prior experience as a Design Lead, Engineering Project Manager, or similar role in semiconductor, advanced technology, or industrial construction environments is highly preferred.
Associate degree in a relevant engineering field required; Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
CAPM or PMP certification from PMI is a plus.

Salary range: $75,000-$130,000 per year, commensurate with location, education, and experience.
