Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Wallingford, CT is seeking Engineering Interns to apply standard techniques and procedures, update designs, and assist lead engineers on diverse projects.

Responsibilities include supporting construction-focused activities across market segments and contributing to project tasks with strong communication, problem solving, and leadership skills. Travel up to 5% may apply.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Currently enrolled, and in good standing, in a post-secondary education program in a related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
• Actively involved in campus, community or other volunteer activities or organizations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring future sponsorship for employment visa status.
