Job summary

Fresh Express Salads is seeking a Project Manager to provide engineering support across multiple projects, coordinating layout, installation, controls, and mechanical work within the facility. You will serve as a liaison between plant leadership and the corporate engineering group.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 3 years in a manufacturing setting, with strong skills in AutoCAD and MS Office, plus the ability to manage budgets and ROI for capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing process environment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance inspections and audits.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to coordinate projects including CAD drawings and supplier guidance.

Responsibilities

• Act as Project Lead for specific projects within the facility and liaise with corporate engineering.
• Identify new opportunities and initiate Capital Appropriation Requests.
• Identify and implement new processes to reduce variation and optimize performance.
• Coordinate with contractors for equipment specs, quotes, and design.
• Budget planning, procurement, and ROI demonstration for capital projects.
• Work with production on startup and training of new equipment.
• Support plant maintenance, utilities, and EHS&S compliance.
