Job summary

Prolec Energy in Wisconsin seeks a Project Engineer to drive capital and expansion projects within manufacturing operations. The role coordinates internal resources, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-scope, on-budget delivery while maintaining detailed documentation.

The ideal candidate demonstrates organization, technical capability, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 5 years in manufacturing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
  • Established project management skills with understanding of PM tools and techniques.
  • Experience in a leadership role is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities to ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans to track progress, scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and cost using proper verification methods.
  • Identify and manage project risks to minimize impact.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
