Job summary

Prolec Energy seeks a Project Leader to drive the Facility Expansion project. You will coordinate internal resources and third parties to ensure flawless execution and thorough reporting of capital expansion initiatives.

Responsibilities include delivering projects on time and within scope, mentoring the team, managing budgets, schedules, and risks, while maintaining strong client and vendor relationships across the large manufacturing campus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing Operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record leading complex, multi-faceted projects.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver projects on time, in scope and within budget.
  • Develop and mentor direct reports.
  • Create detailed project plans and track progress.
  • Manage resources, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Report status to management and escalate as needed.

Seeking A Project Leader for Facility Expansion Project
About the Role

Reporting to the project and infrastructure manager the employee will coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution and reporting of capital and/or expansion projects. Main deliverables include project scopes and objectives, relationships with clients/stakeholders/vendors/contractors, comprehensive project documentation and reporting to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Develop and mentor direct report team members
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Oversee and guide the performance of project and/or manufacturing engineer(s)
  • Report and escale to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Involve all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Detail project plans to track and report on progress
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing Operations, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory - leadership role
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading projects and complex multi-faceted projects

  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with vendors/clients/stakeholders

Must be able to stand or sit and potentially lift items for extended periods of time

Working Conditions

Construction site, manufacturing shop floor and office environment, located on large manufacturing campus
