Job summary

KBR is seeking an Associate Project Manager, Engineering to lead full lifecycle delivery for midstream and downstream projects. You will direct multi-discipline teams, set execution plans, and act as the technical authority from feasibility through commissioning.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s in engineering, 10+ years of relevant experience, and strong EPC knowledge. International collaboration and mentoring are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with extensive proven experience.
• Minimum 10 years progressive engineering experience in industrial or heavy manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing engineering teams on large-scale capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of EPC execution models and stage-gated development.
• Ability to lead complex projects through execution and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline engineering teams (process, mechanical, electrical, civil/structural, instrumentation & controls).
• Establish engineering execution plans, design standards, and schedules.
• Act as the authority for all technical aspects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and develop senior and mid-level engineers; provide oversight.
• Manage engineering activities from conceptual design to commissioning.
• Interface with project management, procurement, construction, and operations.
• Support equipment selection, vendor evaluations, and technical bid reviews.
• Ensure deliverables meet cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Present technical solutions and risk assessments to leadership.
