• Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects.
• Reviews product design for compliance with standards and customer requirements.
• Coordinates activities with stakeholders throughout design and development, including transition to production.
• Performs and coordinates design, execution, and documentation of experiments and test protocols.
• Coordinates prototype or pilot-run procurement activities with engineering, purchasing and operations.
• Writes and/or reviews documentation of development activities aligned with Quality Systems.
• Tracks and controls expenditures within project budget and communicates status to management.
