Job summary

Teradyne in North Reading, MA, is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary initiatives from concept through commercialization. You will drive proof-of-concept demos, prototype development, and product development projects with global, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, exceptional communication, and the ability to thrive amid evolving requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred) OR related field.
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in product development, preferably in the semiconductor equipment or high-technology equipment industry.
Proven success managing large-scale, cross-functional projects with global teams.
PMP certification highly desired.
Mastery of MS Project and MS Excel required; strong proficiency with other PM tools a plus.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with experience delivering to senior management and customers.
Ability to adapt quickly to ambiguous or changing requirements and guide teams through uncertainty.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end PM for new product development, integrating automation, hardware and software.
Manage evolving requirements and shifting priorities, providing structure and clarity.
Align cross-functional contributors across engineering, marketing, sales, and operations.
Establish and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, risk management frameworks, and metrics.
Manage total program costs and resources, ensuring smooth transition to manufacturing.
Distill complex data into clear insights for leadership and customers.
Anticipate risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
Drive accountability and facilitate decision-making across teams.
