Job summary

Motiva Enterprises LLC in Port Arthur seeks an Engineering Project Manager to lead planning and execution of capital projects, coordinating cross-functional teams to meet scope, schedule, budget and quality. You will develop work plans, manage stakeholders and ensure HSSE compliance, while applying project management best practices and driving continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in capital projects within petrochemical/heavy industries and a Bachelor’s in Engineering; PMP

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing capital projects in a petrochemical, refining or heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Project Management experience working in a phased project process.
• Effective managerial capability.
• Outstanding written and oral communication and critical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with Process Safety Management – Management of Change

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of capital projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, resource requirements, cost estimates, budgets, and project controls.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering, technical, operational, and business teams to ensure effective project integration and execution.
• Manage day-to-day project activities, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor project costs, resources, risks, and performance; provide timely reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical and project-related issues; coach team members as needed.
• Evaluate technology and technical solutions for project challenges and drive appropriate decisions within project scope.
• Establish, implement, and maintain project management standards, processes, tools and best practices.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, subcontractors and partners.
• Ensure projects meet applicable quality, HSSE, regulatory, and compliance requirements; pursue continuous improvements.
