Job summary

The Marvin Group in Southern California near LAX is seeking an Engineering Program Scheduler to develop, maintain, and analyze integrated master schedules that track programs from contract award to production handoff. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and Technical Program Managers to ensure accurate planning, forecasting, risk management, and schedule performance.

The role emphasizes DCMA IMS quality, critical-path analysis, and actionable leadership-level recommendations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Management or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in program planning or program management.
• Experience with scheduling software: MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, Milestone Professional.
• Knowledge of Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) and IMS/DCMA requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to interact with stakeholders.
• US Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Interpret contract requirements to create IMS that is executable and meets customer, quality, and contract requirements.
• Gather program steps, durations, and dependencies to assemble into cohesive IMS from contract award to production handoff.
• Provide recommendations and support to Technical Program Managers for timely status/forecasting of work.
• Analyze program critical paths and conduct root cause assessments to baseline variances.
• Lead development and delivery of Schedule Risk Assessments and IMS baselines across functional area.
• Independently perform as IMS lead in program reviews and meetings.
