Job description

Join TDK AIsight, a TDK Corporation subsidiary building cutting edge AI, semiconductor, and sensor technology. We're looking for an Engineering Program Manager to lead complex, cross functional engineering programs from concept through development, validation, and commercialization.

About the Role

As our Engineering Program Manager, you'll bridge technical execution with business priorities, coordinating engineering teams, product stakeholders, suppliers, and leadership to deliver products on schedule. You'll own program structure, milestone execution, risk management, and transparent communication across the organization. This role requires a strong technical background paired with exceptional project management skills to drive successful product launches.

What You'll Do

  • Define program scope, deliverables, milestones, schedules, dependencies, and success criteria across software, hardware, systems, and product development efforts
  • Lead cross functional alignment across engineering, product management, supply chain, suppliers, and business stakeholders
  • Maintain risk registers, identify risks early, drive mitigation plans, manage dependencies, and escalate issues with clear recommendations
  • Deliver program updates, executive summaries, milestone reports, and dashboards that give stakeholders real visibility into progress and tradeoffs
  • Partner with engineering and functional leaders to align resources and manage competing priorities across multiple programs
  • Strengthen program management practices, stage gate reviews, documentation standards, and operating cadences
  • Drive complex, multi team programs with limited direction, influence without direct authority, and resolve ambiguity through structured, data driven decision making

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or a related technical field
  • 5 to 8+ years of experience in engineering program management, technical program management, product development, systems engineering, or a related role
  • Working knowledge of engineering development processes across hardware, software, mechanical, electrical, embedded systems, or product development environments
  • Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, dependencies, risks, resources, deliverables, and stakeholder communications across concurrent programs
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority and align technical and non technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, or Confluence; experience with Agile, waterfall, phase gate, Lean, or hybrid methods preferred
  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification preferred
  • Comfortable in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities
