Job summary

This on-site role focuses on cross-functional planning, vendor liaison, and creating implementable roadmaps that balance agile and waterfall methods to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in product development, software development, manufacturing, or engineering.
• Proficiency with MS Office – Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel.
• Experience leading System Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Software) teams.
• Familiarity with DOORS, MS Project, Jira, and Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2-4 Gentex Engineering disciplines in product development.
• Coordinate with product management, program management, and engineering teams to document and supervise program requirements and technical specifications and transform these into implementation roadmaps.
• Balance agile and waterfall methodologies to create achievable schedules and manage cross-functional dependencies.
• Collaborate and build consensus to meet project and customer requirements.
• Identify and remove roadblocks for the project team.
• Communicate goals, progress and process efficiencies to senior leadership.
