Job summary

New Wave Design is seeking a Technical Engineering Program Manager to plan and execute complex development programs spanning hardware, firmware, and software. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Mentorship and alignment with product roadmaps are essential for success. Strong leadership, EV management experience, and a PMP certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of program/project management experience leading cross-functional engineering teams
• 8+ years of development experience in hardware, firmware, or software
• PMP certification preferred
• Proficiency in earned value management techniques

Responsibilities

• Define program objectives, create detailed plans, and establish deliverables to meet goals.
• Lead cross-functional teams across hardware, firmware, and software.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, and risks with earned value management.
• Conduct regular program reviews to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Mentor engineering staff and align efforts with roadmaps.
• Interface with customers and stakeholders to manage expectations.
