Engineering Production Supervisor at Haumiller Engineering!

Haumiller Engineering is a 100% employee-owned company that designs and manufactures automation assembly and test equipment for the life science, personal care, and food and beverage industries.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Production Supervisor. As a key member of the Project Planning Team, the supervisor will compile, track, and display real-time data to support management and engineers. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining dashboards, identifying issues, and acting to meet project goals. The primary focus is on cost control and on-time project completion. This position is based at our South Elgin, IL location.

What You Will Do:

1. Divide engineering jobs into manageable milestones and collaborate on labor estimates for each project.
2. Develop and communicate project expectations and milestones, monitor progress, and evaluate results.
3. Identify and develop metrics to track and improve engineering department efficiency.
4. Facilitate weekly planning team meetings.

What You Will Bring:

Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of project management experience leading teams in the automation industry.

• Associate’s degree or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience managing teams.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Background in engineering.
