Qualifications

3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, procurement documents, and supplier correspondence.
Experience using ERP systems to manage procurement activities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Responsibilities

Source mechanical, electrical, and custom-engineered components and materials based on engineering drawings and specs.
Manage supplier quote requests, confirm lead times, clarify questions, and align commitments with schedules.
Coordinate procurement for prototype builds, including ordering, tracking, and kits.
Interpret drawings with design engineers to validate parts and support design-for-sourcing.
Research alternate suppliers to reduce risk from obsolescence, long lead times, and cost overruns.
Collaborate with engineering, project management, sourcing, and operations to improve sourcing processes.
