YOH Services LLC is seeking an Onsite Semiconductor Engineering Process Technician for an 18-month contract to hire in Santa Clara, California. The role entails supporting Clean Room Metrology Lab operations and coordinating with engineering for priority samples. Onsite Semiconductor Engineering Process Technician – 18‑Month Contract to Hire

Location: Santa Clara, California. Onsite role.

Shift

Mon – Friday: 8‑Hour night shift (midnight‑8:00 AM)
Friday – Sunday: 12‑Hour night shift (midnight‑12:00 PM)

Pay Rate

$32 to $37 per hour.

Experience Required

0 to 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Support Clean Room Metrology Lab operations.
• Coordinate with engineering on sample priorities.
• Mount, dismount, clean and handle customer samples—coupons and wafers.
• Track and maintain order of incoming jobs and their execution.
• Operate laboratory process equipment and instrumentation.
• Execute metrology jobs using developed BKMs and recipes on SEM tools.
• Perform analysis of metrology images with proprietary algorithms and software.
• Prepare reports according to predefined templates.
• Interface with requestors to understand detailed requirements and communicate results; assist lab in monitoring wafer in process (WIP) and maintaining throughput.
• Interface with hardware team, troubleshoot hardware, and execute tool maintenance.

Qualifications

• College degree in Materials, Electrical, Chemistry Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic data analytics skills.
• Hands‑on readiness for lab operations, including sample handling and equipment operations.
• Team player.
• Semiconductor experience is nice to have.
• 0–2 years of experience.
