Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking an Engineering Continuous Improvement & Process Manager in Buffalo, NY. This role will establish procedures, standard work, and metrics for core engineering processes in alignment with AS9100 and regulatory requirements.

You will lead a team of project, process, and digital engineers, guiding process development, improvement, and assurance across the Military and Commercial Aircraft Groups. The position may be located at other Moog sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related technical degree required; Master's preferred.
• 10 years of design and development engineering experience with minimum 3 years in management or supervisory role.
• Proven experience facilitating broad change initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize multiple competing projects across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience coaching problem-solving, change acceptance, and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills to influence all levels of staff, customers, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Engineering Project & Process Group team, including recruiting, developing, and budgeting.
• Collaborate with Engineering Leadership to deliver new processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with stakeholders inside and outside engineering to ensure integrated processes.
• Provide advisory services on governance, training, and Lean principles; enable project planning and execution.
• Drive cross-functional engineering process improvements with business partners.
• Conduct process audits, create process maps, and define KPIs for new/updated processes.
• Plan and execute process deployment projects with training and support resources.
• Manage portfolio of improvement projects and lead project engineers to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure documentation artifacts are stored in central IT repositories.
• Represent Engineering on the BMDL Document Approval Board.
