Job summary

The Marzetti Company is seeking an Engineering PMO Intern to join our 2027 Summer Internship Program. This role provides hands-on experience in project management, planning, and PMO operations within a real business environment.

Over the 12-week program, interns will own meaningful projects, build a professional network, and explore potential part-time or full-time opportunities based on performance and company needs. Collaboration with PMs and leadership will be central to the experience.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program with a focus in Engineering Variant or Program Management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Clear and effective presentation skills.
• Foundational project/engineering management skills.
• Familiarity with Planisware or similar project planning tools.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration demonstrated through activities or work experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Action-oriented with sound judgment, integrity, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution.
• Works effectively both independently and in team settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist PMO Office Staff to draft and plan projects startups and execution.
• Assist with Program/Project Planning Documents.
• Collaborates with Project Managers to monitor Program’s Progression and Budget.
• Closely work with Project Managers to develop and design projects optimization initiatives.
• Assist with development of Program and Project MilestonesProvide administrative support to the PMO Staff.
• Contributes to project review meetings.
• Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives.
