Job summary

The Marzetti Company in Columbus, Ohio is offering a 12-week Process Engineering Intern program designed for current engineering students to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing operations and process improvement.

Interns will work on real projects, collect and analyze production data, participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and have opportunities for future part-time or full-time employment based on performance.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with CAD or ERP systems is a plus.

Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities:

Qualification Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program with a focus in: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Leadership or a related field.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office® applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CAD or ERP systems is a plus.


• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills


• Experience with data analysis and process improvement


• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills demonstrated through extracurricular activities and/or work experience
