Job summary

Oklahoma State University Foundation is seeking an Associate Director of Development for the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology to lead major gift fundraising and donor stewardship. You will build philanthropic partnerships, manage a major gifts portfolio, and collaborate with academic leadership across OSU.

The role emphasizes securing gifts $50K+, delivering 150+ donor visits annually, and achieving a $750k+ annual production target.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing and communications, nonprofit management, humanities, or related fields required.
Minimum of 4-5 years in fundraising, development, major gifts, or relevant professional experience.
Experience in a higher education setting preferred.
Fundraising and donor management software experience desired.
Proven sense of humor and ability to have fun!
Effective communication: ensures effective communication and concise explanations across the organization.

Responsibilities

Solicit and secure major gifts to OSUF with a focus on gifts of $50,000+.
Manage a portfolio of 60-80 major gift prospects affinity for OSU.
Secure 150+ donor visits annually.
Complete 10+ major gift solicitations annually with a goal to close 60% of solicitations at MG $50K+.
Responsible for annual production goal of $750k+.
Maintain accurate donor records and uphold data best practices in OSUF CRM.
