Job summary

Dow seeks undergraduate and graduate engineering students for Internship/Alternating Term Co‑op opportunities in Operations to begin in spring, summer, or fall terms. Roles span Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Materials/Metallurgical engineering with assignments across U.S. sites including Texas.

You’ll contribute to safe and efficient plant operations, process optimization, and technology implementation. Internships are 12–14 weeks, with relocation as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Materials/Metallurgical Engineering.
• No visa sponsorship is available for this U.S. based position.
• Enrolled in ABET accredited program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to plant operating personnel to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
• Assist in manufacturing process troubleshooting and problem solving, preventive maintenance, yield and process improvements.
• Support cost optimization, project management and implementation, equipment design, and new technology implementation.
