Job summary

EY in the United States seeks an Engineering Administrator to be the operational backbone of a fast-moving engineering organization. This dedicated administrative and operations role removes friction for engineers by ensuring licenses are active, tools are provisioned, vendors coordinated, and day-to-day processes run smoothly.

You will coordinate onboarding/offboarding, asset tracking, procurement, budgets, and documentation, partnering across IT, finance, procurement, and HR to keep the team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3+ years in administrative, operations, procurement, or coordination roles.
• Experience managing recurring processes like renewals, procurement, budgets, or vendor coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 or equivalent productivity tools.
• Ability to track multiple workstreams and deadlines with high accuracy.
• Professional and approachable communication across stakeholders.
• Self-starter mindset with end-to-end task ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own the software license lifecycle: procuring, renewing, tracking, reallocating, and retiring licenses and SaaS subscriptions.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships: quotes, contracts, renewals, and points of contact.
• Handle procurement: raise purchase requests, track approvals, reconcile invoices, and delivery.
• Monitor the team’s operational budget and maintain clear records for leadership.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, accounts, hardware, and tool provisioning.
• Maintain hardware and asset inventory and coordinate repairs/replacements.
• Administer access requests and keep shared records current.
• Keep team documentation organized: trackers, drives, SOPs, and reference materials.
• Support compliance and audit readiness with accurate licensing, procurement, and asset records.
• Serve as central point of coordination for questions and issue resolution.
