Job summary

EY is seeking an Engineering Administrator to support an engineering organization by handling licenses, procurement, budgets, onboarding, and asset management. This dedicated role reduces friction for technical teams and provides end-to-end ownership of operational tasks.

The successful candidate will coordinate across procurement, finance, IT, HR, and vendors, ensuring accurate records and timely delivery of services in a hybrid US work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3+ years in administrative, operations, procurement, or coordination roles.
• Experience managing renewals, procurement, budgets, or vendor coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint).
• Ability to track multiple workstreams with accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, professional demeanor.
• Self-starter who can own tasks end to end with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own software license lifecycle: procure, renew, track, reallocate, retire licenses and SaaS.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships: quotes, contracts, renewals, contacts.
• Handle procurement and purchasing: raise requests, track approvals, reconcile invoices.
• Track and support the team’s operational budget and records.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding logistics for new joiners.
• Maintain hardware and asset inventory with accurate records.
• Administer access and account requests across systems.
• Keep team documentation and SOPs up to date.
• Support compliance and audit readiness with licensing and asset records.
• Serve as central point of coordination for administrative questions.
