Job summary

Connectly Recruiting is seeking an Engineering Supervisor for New Product Development in the Binghamton, NY area. The role combines hands-on engineering with leadership, guiding a team through design, prototyping, testing, and the launch of new products.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple development programs, provide technical mentorship, and collaborate with Operations and Quality to ensure smooth manufacturing transitions. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of product development engineering experience.
• Leadership or mentorship experience.
• Experience with CAD/PDM systems such as Creo and Windchill preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of Design, Development, and Test Engineers.
• Lead new product development from concept through prototyping, validation, and production release.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance in design, prototyping, testing, and design reviews.
• Manage priorities and engineering resources across multiple development programs.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, and Application Engineering to support product development and manufacturing transition.
• Drive improvements to prototyping and product development processes.
