Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking an Engineering Supervisor - New Product Development in the Binghamton, NY area. The role combines hands-on engineering with leadership to guide design, prototyping, testing, and successful product launches.

You will mentor a multidisciplinary team, oversee multiple development programs, and partner with Operations, Quality, and Application Engineering to ensure smooth manufacturing transitions. Strong communication and prototyping skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of product development engineering experience with hands-on prototyping.
• Leadership or technical mentorship experience.
• Experience with CAD/PDM systems such as Creo and Windchill preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of Design, Development, and Test Engineers.
• Lead new product development from concept through prototyping, validation, and production release.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance in design, prototyping, testing, and design reviews.
• Manage priorities and engineering resources across multiple development programs.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, and Application Engineering to support product development and manufacturing transition.
• Drive improvements to prototyping and product development processes.
