Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking highly motivated engineering students for the Summer 2027 Co‑op program in Louisville, KY. Co‑ops gain real-world manufacturing experience supporting multiple appliances and the plastics center of excellence.

Assignments cover shop operations, process engineering, global supply chain, quality, sourcing, and more. Housing/relocation assistance is available for eligible students.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or related) or in Supply Chain/Operations Management.
• Graduation date December 2027 or later required.
• Cumulative GPA may be considered as part of the qualification.

Responsibilities

• Set goals and objectives for your co‑op rotation with your assignment leader.
• Lead teams across multiple levels of the business through influencing.
• Use initiative to find and develop process improvements.
• Assist your team with development and execution of project ideas.
• Develop and demonstrate analytical approach to problem solving.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently.
• Set regular feedback sessions with your assignment leader.
