Forge is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Trade Management engineering team, driving scalable, reliable software across the platform. You will partner with Product, Data, and Operations to deliver business-critical capabilities while mentoring engineers and shaping technical strategy.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of engineering management experience leading software teams.
• 5+ years hands-on software development with TypeScript, C#, and Java.
• 2+ years Python data workflows with data lake/medallion architectures.
• Experience in Private Markets, Capital Markets, or Financial Services.
• Strong project management and execution skills delivering complex initiatives from planning through deployment while contributing technically across backend and frontend systems.
• Experience working in Agile environments and using JIRA or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the engineering team responsible for the Trade Management domain and related services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Own the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering initiatives for trade management, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with estimates.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture discussions, code reviews, and hands-on contribution across backend and frontend systems.
• Drive engineering excellence by promoting modern software practices, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and data engineering trends, advocating thoughtful adoption where they add value.
