Job summary

Corning Incorporated, a global leader in glass, ceramic and materials science, seeks an engineering leader to manage CET Environmental Technologies’ thermal technology portfolio. You will guide firing, drying and related processes, coach teams, and drive programs from concept to production across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes developing new technologies, improving existing manufacturing capabilities, and delivering cost reductions while maintaining rigorous technical leadership and program

Qualifications

• BS, MS or PhD in an engineering discipline (chemical, mechanical, or materials preferred).
• 10 years experience in manufacturing, engineering or development.
• Leadership and supervisory skills demonstrated leading teams responsible for implementation of new processes or equipment into manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering technical leadership for equipment, processes, methods and measurement technologies across CET’s Environmental Technologies division.
• Lead technology programs and project teams to deliver capacity and capability improvements.
• Sponsor, lead and coach individuals and teams to deliver new technologies and processes to manufacturing.
• Plan and execute programs from initiation through manufacturing, start-up and acceptance.
• Drive technical alignment across thermal technology priorities and manufacturing needs.
