Job summary

Medtronic is seeking an Engineering Manager, Test Engineering to own end-to-end verification for a large capital imaging system (O-arm). You will lead a global team of test engineers across hardware, software, and integration testing, driving milestones and test automation strategies.

The role sits in the Cranial & Spinal Technologies (CST) unit and requires strong leadership, debugging, and compliance with FDA/IEC quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a Baccalaureate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience; advanced degree with 3+ years acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and implements test strategy, design, and execution for hardware and software components of a large imaging system.
• Leads and manages a team of test engineers across design verification, test automation, and system integration testing.
• Owns on-time delivery of test milestones across multiple projects and releases.
• Drives development and adoption of test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Directs test plans, protocols, and verification strategies from design through release, ensuring regulatory alignment.
