Job summary

International Code Council (ICC) is seeking a senior engineering leader to hire, coach, and develop a team of design engineers focused on the structural design and review of factory-built structures. The role drives process improvements and revenue growth while ensuring regulatory compliance with HUD and state requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Civil/Mechanical engineering background, PE license or EIT progress, and strong communication with clients and agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or EIT in progress with licensure on track.
• Experience applying building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE 7, etc.).
• Experience reviewing engineering documents, calculations, drawings and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Lead design engineering team focused on factory-built structures.
• Manage performance reviews and professional development for direct reports.
• Prepare client estimates, scopes of work, and related deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with state, HUD and other requirements in projects.
